Function Inventory allows to count all parts managed by KanbanBOX, scanning the barcode and declaring the quantity present in warehouse.
The function Inventory is activated by the Team KanbanBOX, if requested.
Create an Inventory
Get in Settings > Company settings
In section Inventory Function (activated previously by Team KanbanBOX), enter the name of the current inventory.
For counting with a mobile device, you can use the web interface https://mob.kanbanbox.com or the App Android downloaded on device.
- Login with the credentials and select the menu Inventory.
- Scan the barcode of kanban cards in warehuose and enter the real quantity in the box.
After each scanning, KanbanBOX gives a log message with the outcome, if inventory happened correctly or not.
In case of an error in entering the quantities, it is not possible to read the barcode again with the terminal and re-enter the correct quantity. KanbanBOX will give an error message for "kanban already inventoried".
It is not possible to read with the inventory cards that in KanbanBOX are already consumed and released and therefore have already generated a new Kanban ID.

Report and analysis
Once the count is complete, go to in Master > Components > Inventory.
There are 2 reports to check for the internal analysis:
List of all kanban cards inventoried: It shows all cards scanned with Inventory function. For those cards that at the time of the inventory are in a state other than Available, you can declare the individual lines in Available with the icon under the column Operations.
List of kanban cards on board but not included in the inventory list: by selecting “Cards on board missing from inventory” it is possible to check the cards still to be inventoried and identify which cards are no longer physically present in the warehouse, but are available on the blackboard.
