View procedures on the home page
Procedures, such as Standard Work, can be displayed on any user's home pages by configuring a widget.
How to configure a widget to display a procedure on the home page
Procedure:
- On the top right, click on
Settings >
Custom Actions.

Create a new Action with the button on the top right corner of the table
Add new action. Set the fields as follows:
Field Description Action name Name or title of the procedure you want to insert. For example Declare a kanban released if you want to insert a document containing the procedure for setting a card released. Available for Only current user: The procedure will only be shown to the user who is creating the action. All users: The procedure will only be shown to all the users.
Function Display standard procedure. Type Image is predefined and cannot be changed. It indicates a static display of the procedure. File Select the file containing the procedure to be shown. It can be an image (therefore in .jpeg, .png, etc. format) or a PDF document 3. Once all the fields have been set, click on Save.
To add the procedure widget to the home page, continue as follows:
- Click on
Home on the top menu.
- On the bottom left, or right, click on
Edit your home page.
- Scroll through the proposed widgets left or right (depending on where you want to insert the button) until the widget Display procedure is displayed.
- In the Action name field select the one containing the title of the newly created action.
- Click on
Add widget, then on
Close to close the home page editor.
This way the standard procedure has ben successfully added to the home page.
Alternatively, you can create the custom action directly from the widget insertion interface on the home page.
Procedure:
- Click on
Home on the top menu.
- On the bottom left, or right click on
Edit your home page.
- Scroll through the proposed widgets left or right (depending on where you want to insert the button) until the widget Display procedure is displayed.
- Click on
Create new.
- At this point you will be redirected to the Add new action page, where you can configure all the action fields as described above (therefore Action Name, Availability, Function, Type and File).
Update a widget to display a procedure on the home page
Procedure:
- Click on
Settings >
Custom actions.
- Once the specific action to be modified has been filtered or identified, click on
Edit action on the right.
- Modify the action according to your needs.
- Once the parameters have been modified, click on
Save to make the changes effective.
