What’s an email notification?
In KanbanBOX it is possible to set an email alert for your user whenever one or more kanban cards change their status.
How to set email notification for the current user
Procedure:
- Get in Settings > Notification settings.

Here, it is possible to separately choose which notifications to receive:

In the tab Suppliers you want to follow, select:
- a supplier
- an event (change of status, comment, card blocking, etc.)
in order to receive an email notification every time the event happens in a card with the selected supplier.

In the tab Customers you want to follow, select:
- a client
- an event (change of status, comment, card blocking, etc.)
in order to receive an email notification every time the event happens in a card with the selected client.
- In the tab Loops of which I am manager, select an event (change of status, comment, card blocking, etc.) in order to receive an email notification every time the event happens in a card that belongs to a loop for which you are the manager.

By clicking on the specific status icon, it becomes green and the email notification is active.
You can modify the notification settings by selecting or deselecting the status icons in this page.
In general:
- If you are a supplier, choose the clients of interest and On set released status to receive an email notification for a new order by the same clients.
- If you are a client, choose the suppliers of interest and On set in process status to receive an email notification when the suppliers take charge of the orders, or On set in transit status to receive an email notification to receive the confirmation of the shipment, etc.
