The SSL/TLS protocol is used for encrypting and authenticating data transfer over the internet. It secures the data transmission between your devices and the KanbanBOX servers, ensuring that the communication can be neither read nor manipulated and, therefore, that your data remains safe.
The browser of most devices automatically recognizes the SSL/TLS certificates and is ready to work on KanbanBOX, so usually you don't need to do anything. In some cases, however, your ERP software, firewalls, or corporate devices may require pre-installation of the SSL/TLS Certificate. This activity is usually managed by your IT Department.
On this page, you can find and download the SSL/TLS Certificate used in the KanbanBOX infrastructure. Please note that SSL/TLS Certificates have a finite lifespan and are set to expire every year: upon expiration, they are no longer recognized as valid and need to be replaced to avoid service disruption. A few weeks before the expiration date, the new SSL/TLS Certificates will be made available on this page for download.
To avoid service disruption on KanbanBOX, check the expiration date for each certificate you install and remember to visit this page yearly to replace the SSL/TLS Certificate at the end of its life!
It is not necessary to remove/delete older certificates, it is sufficient to add the new one.
