KanbanBOX tracks the time between the Released declaration and the Full declaration: therefore, the Lead Time calculation is based on actual status changes that are carried out on the customer side (by the customer warehouse or supermarket expediters).
The Lead Time is then saved in the kanban loop statistics and graphed in the Average delivery lead time graph: an example is shown below.
The graph Average delivery lead time displays, for a specific analysis time frame:
- the average number of working days that the customer has been waiting for the kanban replenishment;
- the supplier's ability to maintain a consistent delivery lead time;
- the supplier's reliability in delivering within the established time frames.
It is possible to change the analysis time frame by setting the desidered Begin date and End Date and by clicking on Update.
It is also possible to group the data by time intervals:
- Day: registered average lead times are grouped by different days;
- Week: registered average lead times are grouped by different weeks;
- Month: registered average lead times are grouped by different months;
- Quarter: registered average lead times are grouped by different quarters, starting from January;
- Year: registered average lead times are grouped by different years.
By clicking on the tab Data, it is possible to view the average lead time in the chosenb time frame and to extract the data into an excel spreadsheet.
