How to connect a new Supplier or a new Customer

Link procedure if the Supplier/Customer already has a license in KanbanBOX

	Who	What
1	User	Send the link request to the new Supplier/Customer by navigating to Master data > Links > New link, and fill in the following fields: Partner to link: Choose an "External" partner to link from those listed in the master data. If the Supplier is not already in the master data, add them by clicking the Add new partner button and filling in the required fields. Does the partner already have a KanbanBOX license?: Select Yes. Email: Enter an email address of a user with Admin role already present in the Supplier/Customer's license to whom you intend to send the link. Press the Submit request button to send the partner an email requesting the link.
2	Supplier/Customer	Upon receiving the email, to access the kanban board, accept the link request by clicking the Accept invitation button inside the email.

Link procedure if the Supplier/Customer DOES NOT have a license in KanbanBOX

1	User	Send the link request to the new Supplier/Customer by navigating to Master data > Links > New link, and fill in the following fields: Partner to link: Choose the partner to link from those listed in the master data, of type "External." If the Supplier is not already in the master data, add them by clicking the Add new partner button and filling in the required fields. Does the partner already have a KanbanBOX license?: Select No. Email: Enter an email address of the user to whom you want to send the link request. Preferred mail language: Choose the language in which the email to the Supplier/Client will be written. Do not select this option if the user already has their own KanbanBOX license. You can choose from the following languages: - Italian - English - Spanish - German - French - Polish - Chinese Press the Submit request button to send the partner an email requesting the link.
2	Supplier/Customer	Upon receiving the email, to access the kanban board, accept the link request by clicking the Accept invitation button inside the email.

The linked partner can now:

• view the kanban cards related to them on the Board as supplier or Board as customer;
• receive email notifications for orders received/sent from/to the partner. For the user who accepted the link, email notifications for cards released by the partner are automatically activated;
• add a Transcode to the partner's part numbers;
• participate in the Kanban loop projects with the partner.

If the connected partner is:

• a Supplier, they can print kanban cards and set them to the statuses In process, Done, and In transit.
• a Customer, they can set kanban cards in the statuses Empty, Released, and Full.
