Why do we need a weekly reminder?
In case of weekly deliveries of KanbanBOX orders, the operators delivering the kanbans need to remind themselves every week to prepare all the kanbans that were released in the last seven days (or five working days).
To create a reminder, we will use Outlook calendar. However, you could use any other calendar to create one (Google Calendar, etc.).
How to create the reminder
Procedure:
- Open Outlook.
- Go to Calendar and then click on New event.
- In the new page, fill in these fields:
- Title: KanbanBOX orders.
- Start time – End time: select the day in which operator should manage KanbanBOX orders (print kanban, prepare delivery of kanbans)
- Toggle the All day option to enable it.
- Click on Insert link in the description box, then fill in:
- Display as: KanbanBOX orders.
- Web address: https://app.kanbanbox.com/.
- Click on Save.
- Click on Make recurring, choose the desidered time and pattern and click on Save to make the event recurring.
- Lastly, click on Save to enable the reminder.
Please note that the procedure may slightly vary based on the version of your Outlook application.
